The Ulan-Ude locomotive car repair plant (UU LVRZ, a member of the LocoTech group) summed up its production operations for the first half of 2018. Thus, in January-June, the plant completed the repair programme for 100% (436 sections of locomotives were repaired). 

In addition, the volume of repair of electric locomotives increased by 8.5% compared to the last year, and the volume of overhaul - by 53%. 




From January to June, UL LVRZ repaired almost 3 thousand units of locomotive equipment for LocoTech-Service locomotive depots. The increase in the volume of repairs compared to 2017 amounted to 134.3%. 

By the end of 2018, the plant plans to release another 488 sections of electric locomotives after repair. Thus, the UU LVRZ will establish another historical maximum - 924 sections. This is 6% more than the last year’s release. And, when compared to 2015, the growth will be 61.5%. 

The Ulan-Ude locomotive and car repair plant is a leader among the LocoTech locomotive repair plants. This is one of the largest industrial enterprises of the Republic of Buryatia. It carries out medium and capital repairs of locomotives, warranty service and upgrading of locomotives with extension of service life, repair of components and assemblies, production of spare parts, development of new repair technologies. 

In 2017, for the first time in the history of the plant, the UL LVRZ repaired 104 sections of locomotives, and in a year - 871 sections. The growth compared to 2016 was more than 24%. At the same time, during the year, the plant systematically improved the quality indicators of its products. The company also adopted the repair of new series of passenger electric locomotives - EP1P, EP1 and E5K in the volume of capital and medium repairs. 

In 2017, Ulan-Ude LVRZ became a pilot site for the project to create technological competence centres for the repair of electrical machines, repair and production of wheel sets, production of steel and iron castings.
