Ussuri LRZ (part of the LocoTech Group of Companies) runs at peak load. Only for the primary customer - OJSC Russian railways in 2017 the factory will repair more than 300 locomotives, which is a record for the company.

If the production program for 2016 was 220 locomotives, this year it is necessary to repair 90 locomotives more - which is the highest factory load in its history. Before the end of the year at least 30 locomotives shall be released after repair monthly.

In connection with the growth of the production program, the scope of other types of works is also growing. For example, in the 4th quarter of 2017 the diesel program has been increased - the staff of the diesel shop will have to repair from 25 to 30 diesel engines of the D49 type on a monthly basis.

As pointed out by the Deputy Director for Manufacturing of Ussuri LRZ Alexander Korchemlyuk, the factory staff shall repair 29 locomotives in in October, 29-30 locomotives in November, and 32 locomotives in December. The further additional growth of the production program is also scheduled.

Within the increasing the production programme Ussuri LRZ shall require additional staff. The main professions are rolling stock repair technicians, turners, EAC requires rackers. Admission of new employees is performed daily. Employment is possible without specialized expertise, training of the professionals is performed directly in the workplace. Factory employees, as well as employees of other LocoTech enterprises, are protected by the collective working agreement and have a wide social package and a set of additional benefits.
