Director General of LocoTech Group Yury Degtyarev introduced the JSC RZD President Oleg Belozerov the company's development strategy. The presentation took place in the framework of the VI International Railway Equipment and Technologies Salon EXPO 1520 in Scherbinka.

Russian Railways President praised the efforts of LocoTech for the establishment of a single information field, which allows to quickly exchange the information between the customer, manufacturer and service company. This improves the performance of the locomotive fleet.

Oleg Belozerov also noted that Russian Railways currently expect growth of freight transportation on the network. This will help increase the volume of the order at the LocoTech enterprises.

According to Yury Degtyarev, the most important task of LocoTech is to implement the programme to enhance the performance of the fleet and to promote the development of the industry. He noted: “LocoTech is the main partner of RZD in area of service and repair of traction rolling stock. Our efforts are aimed at improving the effectiveness of joint work and optimizing the costs of main customer - Russian Railways. For this purpose we will implement an extensive program of development of the production system, purchase new equipment and carry out a comprehensive program to improve the quality of service.

A significant amount of money we direct to upgrade the factory capacities - only for the current year over 1 billion rubles has been allocated for this purpose”.

In the course of the dialogue with the Russian Railways President Yury Degtyarev stressed that the proliferation of digital production technologies, introduction of advanced management systems is one of the strategic directions of the Group development.

LocoTech takes part in the salon EXPO 1520 with its own unique interactive booth where you can see the key projects of the Group in four main activity types: maintenance and repair of the traction rolling stock, scientific and technical innovation, digital projects, production and sale.
