01.08.2019 | Rostov-on-Don Electric Locomotive Repair Plant release 270 locomotive sections after repair in the first half-year

The Rostov-on-Don Electric Locomotive Repair Plant in the first half of 2019 maintained high production rates and completely fulfilled the production plan. The enterprise released 270 traction rolling stock sections after repair, which corresponds to the figure for the same period last year. 

The plant maintains production potential, which is a record one since the Soviet times. Rhythm of the enterprise operations is ensured through capacity upgrading and improvement of the staff professional training level. 

- New equipment appeared on RERZ as part of the investment program over the past few years, - notes the Rostov-on-Don Electric Locomotive Repair Plant director Adele Mustafin. - In particular, the mill for the processing traction motor frames, equipment for pressing rollers and vacuum pressure plant for anchors impregnation have been put to operation . The test stations for the new series of locomotives 2(3)ES5K (Ermak) are expected to be received. 

157 employees of the plant have been retrained and underwent advanced training in the first half of 2019. 

The wage growth rates are also maintained on RERZ. In the half-year it increased by 5.6% compared to the same period of 2018 to 38,825 rubles. The number of employees has increased to 2100 people.
