05.02.2019 | In 2019 LocoTech will allocate more than 3 billion rubles to the development of factories

In 2019, LocoTech Group plans to allocate more than 3 billion rubles to the development of locomotive repair plants of Zheldorremmash. 
  

The funds of the investment program will be used to ensure the fulfillment of the growing production order by Russian Railways. 

It is expected that the production investment program of the Ulan-Ude locomotive and car repair plant will amount to more than 600 million rubles, the Chelyabinsk electric locomotive repair plant - more than 200 million rubles, the Ussuriysk locomotive repair plan - more than 500 million rubles, the Yaroslavl electric locomotive repair plant - more than 400 million rubles, Rostov-on -Don electric locomotive repair plant - more than 60 million rubles. 

As part of the 2019 investment program, the implementation of activities that started in 2018 will continue, and a number of major new initiatives will be launched. In particular, the mastering of the ED133/EDU133 TED will continue at the Astrakhan locomotive repair plant, and the development of the medium and major repairs of the TEP70 and 2TE116 locomotives, as well as the repair of the D49 diesel engines will continue at the Orenburg locomotive repair plant. 

It is planned to expand the capacity of the locomotive assembly plant, to increase the output of electrical machines, diesel engines, wheelsets at the Ussuriysk locomotive repair plant. The mastering of repair of the VL80 and 2ES4K series will continue at the Chelyabinsk locomotive repair plant, the development of the repair of the EP1 electric locomotive, an increase in the output of electrical machines, wheel sets will be performed at the Yaroslavl locomotive repair plant. 

In addition, LocoTech plants are expected to implement a number of new initiatives in the area of automation, process and strategic development. 
  
In total, as part of the implementation of the investment program, it is planned to introduce over 1 thousand measures aimed at upgrading and increasing the efficiency of the production process at the plants before 2020.
