The LocoTech Group of Companies became the winner of the XVI National Annual Prize "IT-LEADER-2018" in the nomination "Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Industry". The award ceremony took place on April 24, 2018 in Moscow. 

Award on behalf of the Group of Companies has been received by the Managing Director for Digital Technologies Development Dmitry Sergienko. He noted: "The LocoTech company is implementing a large-scale program of digital transformation of production processes and increasing the efficiency of operations. Therefore, the recognition of the business community is an important stage for us". 

Experts highly appreciated the projects of LocoTech on digital transformation. In particular, the company implemented an information management system for the procurement campaign with the objective of drastically reducing the illiquid balances at the warehouses. The solution connects the processes of production planning and the provision with material and technical resources (MTR) by monitoring the status of each nomenclature position: from the planning to the supply and transfer for production. Generation of the procurement plan for MTR now occurs based on operational data of expected write-offs, irreducible reserves, data of transfers and joint operations. This allows the company to quickly analyse the scope and the cost of planned repairs, reduce costs and increase revenues. 

Also LocoTech implements the "Smart Locomotive” project, using which is it possible to quickly keep track of technical condition of the locomotive fleet. On locomotives equipped with microprocessor control systems the special sensors are installed, the data from which go to intelligent analysis platform. Currently, an anomaly search module has been launched, which allows to analyse from 260 to over 300 parameters for diesel locomotives of various models. The system detects more than 60 types of violations in the operation of the equipment and operating modes. It is currently used at 20 locomotive service depot and covers more than 6 thousand locomotive sections. 

“Smart Locomotive” is implemented on intelligent data analysis platform Clover IIoT, using the neural networks training technology.
