Locomotive Technologies LLC took part in the International congress-exhibition Intellectual production and Industrial Internet of Things, which took place in Moscow. Director General of Locomotive Technologies Aleksey Belinsky spoke at the meeting .
In his speech Aleksey Belinskiy stressed the importance of development of modern technologies in the field of traction rolling stock repair and maintenance. The use of innovative solutions contributes to the development of production and the enhancement of operational efficiency.
Aleksey Belinsky noted: “In our work we take into account the best world practices. The Smart Locomotive system is innovative for Russia. During its development the foreign experience of such industrial giants as, for example, GE, was used. The implementation of the system will significantly reduce the costs of servicing the locomotive complex of Russian Railways, our specialists will be able to monitor and predict the technical condition of the locomotive throughout its lifecycle."
Locomotive Technologies is the largest provider of locomotive fleet maintenance services in 1520 gauge territory. The company annually serves more than 15 thousands locomotives. The Smart Locomotive system (developed in cooperation with Clover Group Company) will help to identify malfunctions and monitor the technical condition of locomotives in virtually online mode. As a result, the quality and speed of repair will significantly increase. In its turn it will allow to increase the technical availability ratio (the main production indicator) of the locomotive fleet of the Russian Railways.
